How a CamperJimny Booking Works
Five steps. Real people on both ends.
We answer within two hours, between 09:00 and 21:00 EEST. The booking flow below is the same one every guest goes through.
The booking flow
1. Check availability
Pick your dates and the vehicle on its product page. Our booking widget (IzyRent) shows live availability and the per-day price for your season. No fake "limited time" timers.
2. Confirm details
Choose your pickup base — Agios Stefanos (closest to Athens International Airport) or Marathon. Add a rooftop tent, child seat, or airport delivery if you need them. Add a second driver — included with every booking, no separate fee.
3. Pay the deposit
Secure your dates with a deposit. The remaining balance is due at pickup. Payment is processed through Shopify's secure checkout.
4. Pickup details email
Within two hours of booking confirmation, we email you the exact pickup address. We also send a 48-hour reminder before pickup day, with packing tips and final route advice.
5. Pickup day
You arrive at the base. We walk you through the vehicle (about 20 minutes), hand over the welcome kit (Greek treats, route map, dry-bag, driver guide), and you head out. We are a phone call away for anything that comes up.

What insurance covers
Every booking includes the full Greek-law-mandated third-party liability cover, comprehensive collision damage waiver with a deductible, and theft cover with a deductible. The default deductible amount depends on the vehicle and is shown in your booking summary at the checkout step.
If you would rather not carry the deductible, you can buy our Zero Excess upgrade at pickup. It reduces the collision and theft deductible to zero for the duration of your rental.
Off-road note: standard CDW covers graded gravel roads. Technical off-road (deep ruts, water crossings beyond wading depth, rock crawling) is your liability. If you are not sure whether a route counts as technical, ask us before you go.
Cancellation policy
We apply the Moderate cancellation plan. The percentages below show what is retained from the rental fee. The security deposit is always refunded in full when a booking is cancelled.
- More than 24 weeks before pickup: 10% retained · 90% refund
- Between 10 and 24 weeks before pickup: 15% retained · 85% refund
- Within 10 weeks of pickup: 15% retained · 85% refund
- Within 6 weeks of pickup: 25% retained · 75% refund
- Within 2 weeks of pickup: 40% retained · 60% refund
- Within 1 week of pickup: 70% retained · 30% refund
- Within 1 day of pickup: 100% retained · No refund
